Get Brighter, Tighter, Younger -Looking Skin
Why does our Skin “Age”?
Add in smoking, drinking alcohol, sun exposure, weight gain, nutrient deficiencies, or poor skincare habits, and the aging process speeds up.
But that doesn’t mean you have to “undo” all of nature’s work to feel like your best self. Getting older is an unavoidable part of life, and sometimes a few small tweaks or new habits can make all the difference in feeling confident in your skin again.

Aging Skin Remedies
Neurotoxins
Neurotoxins – which you probably know as “tox” – are substances that block the muscle contractions that cause wrinkles. After years of squinting, smiling, or ‘deep thinking’, our skin starts to crease and form fine or deep lines.
In many cases, we’ll recommend neurotoxins since they can be used anywhere on the face and neck and are not permanent (results typically last between 3-6 months).
How we suggest using Neurotoxins:
- To smooth out forehead wrinkles, “11s”, and crows feet
- To lift eyebrows for a more awake look
- To even out deep lines around the mouth
Fillers
Dermal fillers are substances that add plumpness back into the face. Since we lose 1% of collagen every year after we turn 30, fillers are a great way to add volume and lift back into hollow or sagging spots.
They typically last about 6 – 24 months depending on the brand. Filler recommendations vary from patient to patient and can be used nearly anywhere on the face.
How we suggest using Fillers:
- To plump up thin lips
- To create more pronounced cheekbones
- To smooth out marionette or frown lines
Esthetic Treatments
Dermaplaning and microneedling are two simple (and less invasive) ways to keep skin youthful. Dermaplaning is a quick procedure where we use a scalpel to gently scrape off dead skin and unveil the next layer of fresh skin cells.
Microneedling is a procedure where we use a pen that creates tiny holes in the top layer of skin, encouraging your body to produce new collagen. Both options are great starting points for anyone who is not ready for injections.
Skincare Products
In addition to injections and aesthetic procedures, we can also make recommendations for skincare products that will keep your skin healthy and rejuvenated. Our suggestions range from affordable drugstore products to more advanced products that can be purchased online.

Debunking Some Myths
Myth: Injections are painful.
Fact: With the correct placement of needles, injections are very tolerable for most patients. For those concerned with pain, a numbing cream can be applied in advance of the injections.
Myth: If I try tox once, I’ll have to use it forever.
Fact: It is true that Neurotoxins have a limited lifespan, but continued use is what keeps up the results. The benefit of being temporary is that you can choose to stop whenever you want.
Myth: Neurotoxins are toxic.
Fact: The name neurotoxin is confusing, since the substance is actually found in our natural environment. Neurotoxins have been used since the 1980’s, and are only toxic to humans if about 3,000 units are used (our patients would never receive more than 100 in a sitting).
Myth: Fillers will make me look like a different person.
Fact: Fillers can make you look like a different person, IF done by untrained practitioners, or requested by the patient. The doctor and nurses at our offices are highly trained in the facial structure, injection techniques, safety measures, and patient care. You will never receive more fillers than necessary to achieve your beauty goals.
Myth: Microneedling will leave holes in my face.
Fact: The holes created by the microneedling pen are microscopic and will close within four hours after treatment. In fact, microneedling can even reduce pore size by increasing elasticity and tightening the skin.
Myth: Dermaplaning will make my peach fuzz grow back even thicker.
Fact: With the correct method and tools, (a scalpel and the direction of use) dermaplaning will not make villus hair (peach fuzz) grow back thicker.
Myth: I’ve waited too long…starting to take care of my skin now is pointless.
Fact: No matter what stage of life you are in, uncovering vibrant skin is possible! Whether it’s injections, facial treatments or skincare, a few changes can go a long way to rediscovering youthful skin.

“I had a minor surgery in the office and I am so satisfied with my experience, with the staff and with Dr Yeoman. The day of surgery, I was so nervous but Dr Yeoman came in and talked with me, I think to divert my attention from the surgery. He and his staff were very friendly and if i had any questions, they were very kind in answering them. The office waiting room and the patients room was very clean. I would recommend Dr Yeoman in a heartbeat!!!”
